The Community Bible Study service center building is a new, stand alone, owner occupied headquarter building. Although the facility is set in an urban environment and set in a planned business park, the retreat concept was successfully accomplished with the building setting, and the lodge like style. Included in the facility are spaces for open office, private offices, publishing, and group assembly.
Community Bible Study selected TLG for two reasons. One, our unique understanding of the facility needs of a high quality, faith dependent para-church ministry. Second, for TLG's ability to perceive and respond to CBS’ vision of the “Colorado” look. The structure reflects Colorado with an
arts and crafts theme you would expect to find at a Rocky Mountain ski lodge. The group, moving from Washington D.C. to Colorado, searched for a dramatic view of the Front Range. TLG assisted with site selection and designed the structure to include a dramatic two story reception area, a board room separated by a glass wall looking through to the chapel and to Pikes Peak beyond.
